your new interface doesn't allow "Drag & Drop" activities

There is no way to configure a dropping location in the new interface. This is a great downgrade for users who have already paid for an annual subscription...
Your chat said you'd get back to me via email, with support for this, but no one did, so I guess there's no way to do it.
Why won't you roll back to the old interface?

Turn on/off dragging

Please can the turn on/off dragging function be changed back?? It used to be a hand icon at the top of the screen which made it easier to select and see which items on the screen were draggable. Now that this function has changed it has significantly slowed down our productivity!

Draggable items - suspended

Removing the ability to drag elements in Present mode has broken countless existing interactive presentations, activities, and escape rooms. Creators have invested enormous amounts of time building these resources, only to have them rendered unusable without warning. This is not a minor feature change. It undermines users' trust in the platform. This functionality must be restored, including for existing projects.

Draggable function is absolutely essential for most of the activities not to mention 100% of the teaching ones. Closing this option ruins years of our work making the previous sets useless not to mention what it says about Genially treating its users. That’s yet another time when Genially changes the interactivities without warning any users. How can we work and pay for the service if our previous work is made unusable? Come on guys, we work with this!

Make elements draggable again

Hi, You used to be able to make elements draggable with the little hand icon. Meaning students could drag things around anywhere on the screen, not necessarily drag and drop to a specific place. Please bring back the little hand icon that makes things draggable!

Please Bring Back the Drag Icon (Hand Icon) in Genially!

Hello, Genially Team!
After the recent update to the Genially editor, the familiar
hand icon
, which allowed users to quickly enable free dragging of objects on a slide, has disappeared. Please bring this button back to its original place!
For teachers who create interactive educational games, this feature is extremely important. We constantly use free dragging to move pictures, letters, numbers, and other elements around the slide.
Previously, we could enable this feature with just one click on the hand icon. It was simple, fast, and convenient.
Now, this functionality is much harder to access, making the process of creating interactive educational materials more complicated and time-consuming.
We kindly ask you to restore the hand icon to the toolbar so that users can enable free dragging with a single click again.
This small but essential feature makes a huge difference for educators who use Genially every day.
Thank you for listening to your users! We sincerely hope you will consider bringing this button back.
Best regards,
A Genially educator and content creator

I found the "make draggable" setting. It's now hidden here:
Click on the object you want to make draggable. In the new floating oval-shaped menu near the top, click on the three vertical dots. Near the bottom, there's a setting called "Turn on Dragging."
Hope this helps!

Thank you Laura,
That’s one way of doing it, but there’s another one as well, you can also find this setting by right clicking on the element you need to drag within the view.
