LibreOffice.org (https://www.libreoffice.org/) is an office package in the Free Software category, so there is no need to pay a license for its use. Because of this, various bodies from all levels of government have in their departments. In addition, they use the open file standard ODF

This will ensure that files created in that package will remain readable forever.

So I believe that also providing the inclusion of package files will be interesting and easy, since it is open source (Free Software), even free support from its developers would be appreciated.
